Injection machine

JSC "ChMP" is the key partner of Russian producers of steel and cast iron, engaged in melt treatment by introduction of cored wire and/or aluminium rod. At present Chepetsky Mechanical Plant supplies 14 Russian metallurgical enterprises with equipment for this purpose. Cored wire and injection machines, designed for cored wire injection into melt, according to predetermined programme, and produced at JSC "ChMP", can be used in metallurgical production process for any type of extra-furnace metal treatment (desulfuration, alloying, modification and other processes). When necessary, ChMP specialists render competent assistance in equipment erection and commissioning. Further information of injection-machines specific models is enclosed in accompanying technical documents.
According to the manner of wire feeding two-channel injection-machines have two drives (each channel can have its own feeding speed).

There are two variants of one-channel injection-machine:

control and maintenance from the right
control and maintenance from the left
According to the manner of wire pressing down there are two variants of injection machines:
manual pressing down
Pneumatic pressing down
According to control system there are three variants of injection machines:
control system basis - control counter-indicator(CCI)
ontrol system basis - IBM compatible controller with serial interface RS-232C
control system basis - controller SIEMENS PROFIBUS-DP
When making injection-machine delivery agreement, please specify the model.
Connecting cables are not included in delivery package, but can be fabricated and supplied to a customer when specified in agreement.
Under agreement between producer and customer injection-machines base models can be updated under customer specific request.

Auxiliary devices and machines.

Auxiliary devices and machines are not included in delivery package. Fabricated under agreement. Performance specifications are available upon request.

Lifting-pivoting machine serves as a guiding from injection-machine to ladle, if there is no possibility to install fixed guiding, and according to operation regulations it is necessary to remove it upside or aside.

Horizontal coil receiving rack serves for installation of wire coil, when there is only slight height difference between mount place of injection machine and a coil.

Vertical coil receiving rack serves for installation of wire coil, when there is significant height difference between mount place of injection machine and a coil.

Injection-machines were designed as devices for cored wire injection, but it is also possible to inject Al rod, provided that Al rod in coil is arranged turn to turn and layerwise, the coil has the framing and installed into device protecting from turn loosing, and unreeling is carried out from inside. Wire coil should be placed at a distance no less than 3 - 5 meters, wire guiding from injection-machine to the ladle should be carried out in tubes with inner diameter 45 - 50 mm and bending radius no less than 1 meter. In two channel injection-machines guiding should be carried out in different tubes. 
 
Availability of coil receiving rack (horizontal or vertical) is not the obligatory operation condition, it is possible to install wire coil in framing (with a pallet or without a pallet) on a floor, retaining dimensions shown in diagram.
